Happy Chinese New Year to one and all from Decor8. As we get ready for the lunar new year, we would like to introduce a bright idea for your interior. We all know that the color red is a lucky color for Chinese people. This color symbolizes happiness, success and good fortune. We will show you some ways to incorporate this color into your interior.

In most cases, this color will add a pop of color into your interior and is best used on items you want standing out more. This adds emphasis on the item making it an eye catching piece.

Natural woods used in this setting adds warmth into the interior. As you will notice the items that we wanted to make stand out from the rest are the comfy Hoover Sofa, DSW Chair to act as a desk chair, and the hanging PH Ceiling Light. The sofa will be the biggest statement piece in this interior setting.

If you are worried that there are too many red items in this space, you may want to think about balancing it out with some neutral colors. This was achieved by adding the lounge chair and cowhide.

In this space, we’ve gone with a more inverted look. Adding a neutral color sofa then adding different shades of red items around it in different materials to give the space some variety.
